Before and after almost every run, I ask myself why I’m doing this and if I have to do it. This probably isn’t the best set of questions to ask yourself, but I can’t help it. When it comes down to it, I run to maintain my weight and feel good about myself. This might not be the healthiest outlook on running, but it’s the truth. I do feel good after any type of run. I feel energized and enabled, not to mention proud, but those reasons aren’t why I lace up.
